The new drag system in the 4500 Series features a 3:1 geared graphite drag unit that provides smoothness without adding overall weight to the reel. Another highlight of the Sage 4500 Series is that the drag system is completely sealed protecting your investment from the elements. The 4500 Series also comes with a one-revolution adjustment knob for fast drag adjustment, we dare you to try one. An added bonus, 4500 and 4500CF spools are interchangeable and also fit the original 2500 Series reels.
